Isn't it amazing. we lose a game 5-0 to a team that was in the Championship only a couple of years ago and we have Lancaster fans dancing in the streets and even Barrow fans rejoicing.
I suppose it is a compliment , you know like fans never boo bad players on the opposing team etc etc. and that it is a form of jealousy.
We even have a City fan called "Blue is the Colour" coming on and calling City the best team in the area. As one of our fans said in answer it is debatable whether they are the best team on the Marsh ! _________________ Football League member.
The Boo boys will soon be on Sammy's back 1 win in 10 games, you're lucky that 3 sides started 17 and 30 points behind you, and one of them will soon be passing you.
In years to come you will long for the days when you used to compete in the Lancs Junior cup.
By the way have you noticed that Dag/Red are in the top four, with far less resources than you have. Strangely your prediction on this forum that they wou;ld struggle seems slightly wrong at the moment.
I'll put it down to you having a poor day, it's local rivalry and when you lose we can chortle and when we lose you have a laugh.
But we don't laugh at Lancaster do we. I mean they lost 4 consecutive matches 5-0 less than 2 years ago , one of them to our reserves in the Lancs Cup yet no-one was crowing from the good side of the river.
Dagenham have the advantage of being in London so there are lots of decent footballers within a very small radius to sign. It is more difficult to persuade scousers and Manks to travel.
No-one will be booing Sammy except for a small group of Jim Harvey supporters (and Harvey has enough problems at the moment).
The Chairman has said that he will not allow the club to go back into the Conference which is taken to mean he will pump money in to sign expensive players as a last resort.
We are 15 points clear of the drop zone and 26 clear of Luton and Accrington are pure s**t so it is very unlikely we will go down.
Roll on Rochdale this Saturday and let the recovery begin. _________________ Football League member.
