They have lots of money and therefore can attract the better players, note that they will not be signing any of your first teamers.

I wouldnt want any of our first teamers to leave !

However the 5 fringe players we released this week will want either league 2 or no lower than Conference National so would be too expensive for the Cods

He will be back at Giant Axe as soon as Micky Mellon realises he's crap.

Was struggling to get in the Shrimps reserves but they did win league titles every year from 1999/2000 to 2007/2008.

You should celebrate those league titles because the first team will never win another league title.

as you well know the higher a team gets in the pecking order the less likely it is to win a league as there are usually wealthier clubs etc.

Now if a team drops to the Vodkat (is that Citys league ?) then the chances of winning a title are greater but who wants to play pubs !

Remember when City fans used to patronise Kirkham and Wesham in pre-season friendlies ?  Well they are currently overtaking City !

You are actually wrong on that point United have worked their way through the leagues and keep winning the Premiership.
As for Fylde they've got money behind them, strange as I've pointed out many times how you forget your history, just think you got promoted from the Dog and Duck league by being runners up to a side that couldn't get promoted because of their facilities.

United keep winning the league because they have the most money.

Do you really think we wouldn't have won the NPL in a subsequent year if we hadn't gone up in 1995 !

We could have won it that year but we were promoted with 2 games to go and if we had needed to beat Buxton at home and Colwyn Bay away to go up we would have.

You could have, but the history books show that you didn't and your wrong about United, they are £590 million in debt and cannot pay the interest on their debts and so by rights should be in administration.

See you've managed to keep two localish derbies against Rochdale/Bury watched both games low on quality but high on excitement.

couldn't have gone better yesterday. I was supporting Shrewsbury and Gillingham. Just want the Gills to win the play offs and then we've got rid of long trips to Brentford Gillingham Wycombe Exeter and Luton. Pity we got Cheltenham instead of Carlisle.

the day was spoilt by the poor show at Chelmsford !
