What I find strange about the current situation having slagged Charlie off a bit publicly are the comments how the current board nearly came into existence back in summer, just before Charlie took the reins.
Why didn't it happen?
Why have they waited for the club to get into seemingly more financial problems before taking over?
Was Charlie a convenient scapegoat for everyone to blame?
What a brilliant idea, your club is leaking money all over the place, you find someone thick enough to put in charge without realising how bad things are, they let things get worse (financially, did he?) then you kick them out and bring in the knight in shining armour.
Very, very cunning. The new board will be seen as the saviours (from Charlie) even though they might not bring any fresh money into the club and may still take the club into administration!
