Accrington Stanleyonly 1,056 turned out yesterday. How do they pay the wages ?
No Burnley or Rovers at home either which makes it worse.
I bet there glad we are going on Tuesday. Should be around 400 to 500 Shrimp fans in the away end + me and 3 other Shrimps in the main stand !

Weather forecast not too bad. the rain probably won't reach East Lancs till later on. If you go in the home end (Clayton Rd End) it is now covered and there is the "cowshed" down the side too.
I think they may have tarmacced the bit outside the turnstiles, a couple of years ago I was up to my ankles in mud queueing up to get in. They are still very "non league" !

not unexpected really.
2 home games in 3 days with the country in a depression.
some people will have chosen to go to one match , some people will have chosen to go to the other match and the diehards like me will have gone to both.
Same problem next week with Lincoln at home on Tuesday and Chester at home on Saturday.
We will still end the season with a healthy average as Bradford on Good Friday will attract around 5,000. We have highflying Bury next month who brought 1,200 last season. And the last game of the season on
May 3rd is likely to be a historic one with it likely to be Bournemouth's last league game and I was at Carlisle on the final game of last season and they took 1,500 up there.
