It wasn't a pub league in 1981, it was the 6th tier.
We had just appointed the late Les Rigby as manager and finished in mid table.
Good job there were no internets at that time or the Lancaster City tw*ts would have had a field day although they were about to go into oblivion after 1981/82 !

Long term Citys best hope is to be a yo-yo between North 1 and Unibond Premier.

Confernece National will be full of ex league clubs in intensive care and Conference North full of ex Conf National clubs. IMHO

Halifax for me, NBS may have problems around the corner as the ground they play at has been sold by the Building Society to Newcastle Uni.
Skem always score 5 against us therefore will not be far off.
