it was quite a misleading scoreline.
We had 58% possession against 42% for Bratford
Shots at goal More-cambe 14 Bratford 16
Shots on target More-cambe 10 Bratford 10
Corners More-cambe 11 Bratford 7
Danny Carlton missed the goal from 2 yards which would have made it 1-1 with the last kick of the first half.
Their first goal had a handball assist and their second looked offside.
Their 3rd took a deflection and left our keeper stranded and the 4th was a penalty which was again an arguable handball.
Can't argue with the result but the scoreline was flattering to Bratford as admitted by Stuart McCall.
On the bright side we took 407 fans including our celebrity fan Paul Hayes (cash in the attic , Bargainhunt etc) and the fish and chips at Harry Ramsdens were absolutely superb.
