gates in the Lancashire Co-op Cup

Ashton                     32
Atherton LR              35
Bamber Bridge        117
Chorley                  121
Holker OB                26
Lancaster               118
Squires Gate            25

Blimey a relief to be away from that.

These make our circa 800 against Lancaster in 2006/07 look respectable.
themaclad

It was slashing down, surprised we got so many.
ShrimpsRgood4u

have AFC Fylde taken part in this cup ?
themaclad

There game may have been postponed, not sure though
ShrimpsRgood4u

who is AFC Blackpool ?

Could it be Wren Rover or Blackpool Mechanics maybe.
themaclad

Tis Blackpool Mechs
themaclad

Fylde wom 3-0 at Holker Old Boys in the trophy

Just back from an interesting day at the Deva.

2 sent off , a few booked.

We booed Mark Wright and sang songs about him.

As usual they fiddled the gate, we reckoned about 500 Shrimps fans but officially given as 312.

And we sent them off with nothing.
themaclad

Had a feeling you might win there, was tempted to put you on the fixed odds coupon, however didn't. Gloomfield today for me. 1750 in the away golf stand at £26 a person, havenot won their since 1993. Time to amend that record.
ShrimpsRgood4u

Golf stands are ok when its July but fairly disgraceful of Oyston to charge say more than say £12 to sit in the rain.
themaclad

Lovely sunny day and 3 easy points, dire facilities for visiting fans
ShrimpsRgood4u

is it true they have a hut for people to pee in ?
themaclad

Portacabin with a buckket
ShrimpsRgood4u

Have BFC done much work on the new South Stand ?
themaclad

Not a lot, they've flattened the soil in anticipation.
ShrimpsRgood4u

Maybe Oyston is hoping they go down then he can say they don't need it !
themaclad

He says it will be built by August, which August is open to conjecture.

I dont suppose their fans pay £15 to get in either.

Anyone can sell a product if they give it away.
themaclad

£10 to get in, plus the added advantage of a bar which shows the game, beer is the key. And they do't charge a £1 to get into it unlike a club that I know

I dont know a club like that that charges £1.

We used to do that but J B's Bar is for the use of sponsors and their guests to have a pre match meal etc for the duration until we move to the new stadium.

There is now a bar at the rear of the North stand for their exclusive use and the Bells Bar which is the first bar in the main stand is available for the main stand and paddock occupants to drink in and is free entry.
themaclad

Last time I went in they charged a £1 but that's probably about 5 years ago.

one of my non league teams (Ossett) beat the mighty Cod Army in the FA Trophy today.
