The .com registration expired on the 14th. There's a .co.uk registered in Les Taylor's name but that's never been active.

I'm surprised to see a domain drop off so quickly, maybe it's the registrars way of encouraging someone to pay up. If it was registered with 123-reg, the renewal cost for 2 years is approx £22.

Main site problems.

Hi guys,
I was on the main site for a couple of posts late last night, however nothing there this morning.
Are the site providers toying with us for some payments? As you stated the shop has now gone on Ullswater Rd, so i am looking for guidance here.
The payment will not be a problem, its just a way forward. Any ideas, who do we need to contact initially? Will the people who look after the construction of the main site be any use to us?
Please reply on here.
If the other site comes back on and off all day, i will deal with it in the morning.
PS. Still buzzing from yesterday, did I really see 5 forward players together at once with the same cause. Feel pleased for Stimmo, what he went through back end of last year for the cause deserves some success on the park.

TIME 7.04.

PS.
Can anybody change the time on this site? I did'nt really post at 7.04.

According to the records, Business 1st control the registration but I seem to remember the official forum was branded by LA Serve. Whoever looks after your official forum (and web site), they need to get control of the domain name and renew it. That can take time with a .com so maybe the first point of contact is Business 1st, get them to renew then you've got a year or two to sort the rest out. I think B1st are on St Leonardgate now.

This assumes the site is down because of the expiry date being passed. Stgrange because the domains I've allowed to lapse intentionally have worked for weeks or months after their expiry date. Could be a coincidence and there's another problem.

The error everyone is getting now is The parent servers say that the domain lancastercityfc.com does not exist. Like I said, either a technical problem or intentional because of the expiry date.

Thanks for that , you are right with regards to LA Serve, we are to see them with regards to changing the adverts on the .com site. So I will contact Business 1st in the morning and try to get back up and running .

Speaking of Les Taylor, he was at the cup tie at Radcliffe when we played there.

Believe that he is now not at Fleetwood.

Les was at christie park yesterday. He's just listed as a contact, it's whoever's listed as the administrator or works for the company listed as admin that needs to sort things out.

The best way to see all the contact details are

Surf to www.easily.co.uk
Enter "lancastercityfc" into the name box and click Search
Scroll to the end of the results where you'll see an Already Taken list
Click on Who for each of the .com and .co.uk addresses and you'll see all the technical stuff.
The Registration Service Provider are the ones who control the domain name.

Hmm, it looks like the .co.uk was registered by Les personally, it's listed as belonging to a Uk Individual. Good luck, .com's can be a pain in the arse to change if that's what you need to do to get it running again.
