Coming from a team bottom of their league, in administration, likely to drop 4 leagues if they finish this season and losing their own new year's day game, that has to be the funniest post of the year. Thanks for cheering me up delly

I dont think you realise that the fact Morescum lost needs to be celebrated. Its a reason to forget our own troubles and enjoy the sufferings of a club we dont like...
Like if Bolton lose, its makes me happy and I sleep that little bit easier. Speaking of which...

You mean like whenever I feel down I just picture Giant Axe to cheer me up? Any time of day or night, not just when you lose

well you havent much to enjoy in football have you so enjoy your moment but 23 points from last 10 games is great.
Can you remember City's last competitive home win?

Yes I can remember it, I was there. Can you remember when they celebrated winning a league title of any description at Christie Park.

Nor is she funny, unlike some of our friends from across the River.
Never mind they will still be basking in the glory of the're victory in the FA trophy over 30 years ago.
Even Newcastle have won a major trophy since then.(InterToto 2006)

well we may not have won the N W Counties div 2 or whatever it was City won but am I bothered!!
We may be basking in another FA trophy win this year and not be able to defend it next year through being in the league. When you see Delly next give him my regards.
Incidentally Newcastle are not sure about whether there is an Intertwobob cup to receive.
And if we are talking trophies 6 of those things since 1986 that your team couldnt win against a poor team like Southport last season. Also a Presidents Cup win and a Bob Lord Trophy win in 1998 (our second National Football trophy)

It's a rare pleasure for York City to get one over on Morescum, but doubly so to do it so easily
Somehow our coach driver got so badly lost coming through Lancaster, I began to think he'd put Giant Axe into his sat nav instead of Christie Park. Eventually he rediscovered the ability to read signs and got us to the pub in good time for an ale or two before taking in probably our best performance of the season so far.

your players would have had a nasty shock if they had gone to Giant Axe !!
And we did beat York equally easily at the Kit Kat in September and also the Trophy last month. Without Clayton Donaldson I fancy us to be above you at the end but both in the play-offs.
