Perhaps it was a cunning plan, to appoint a person who in their own words, Knew nothing about the Conference North.

Who promised the players decent wages on money that we did not have.
Manage to then lose all the players he signed on decent money, end up with a reserve team playing in the first team.
Kept promising that the money would soon be in place.

Managed too upset Hyde supporters by not offering refunds for the abandoned match Get thrown out of the Redditch clubhouse.

Finally manage to get his own office locks changed without him knowing.

Maybe it wasn't his fault at all. Maybe it was an Act of God, or maybe the guy didn't have a clue what he was doing.

I think the last bit is the truth.

I've posted a link on the other site from the Lancaster guardian.

City players are on expenses-only as the club tries to deal with major financial problems.
Total payments for last week's game for players and bench in last week's game against Droylsden were £375 – less than City's biggest earner took home in his last week at the club before moving on.

So it just goes to show that a fool and his money were easily parted, or in Charlie's case a fool and no money are easily parted.

Glad to see that some of the players who arrived at the start of the season were obviously on stupid amounts, but if we were supposed to be paying decent money, you would have thought we would have got better players than the likes of Jones
